Kristina Bison
Associate
Kristina Bison moved to New Orleans in 2015 after having lived in Maryland, Florida, Kentucky, United Arab Emirates, Russia, and Denmark. Kristina graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History in 2013. She earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2018. During her time at Loyola, Kristina was a member of the National Lawyers Guild and the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic. She also interned at the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal and had an externship at Louisiana’s 24th Judicial District Court with the Honorable John J. Molaison, Jr.
Upon graduating from law school, Kristina was awarded the Gillis Long Social Justice Fellowship serving the unmet legal needs of members of the New Orleans’ community. She subsequently became a staff attorney at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services gaining valuable trial experience as a pro bono eviction defense attorney and domestic violence attorney. Kristina was part of a team that was awarded the Louisiana State Bar Association’s 2021 Legal Service Innovation Award.
Kristina joined Gieger, Laborde, & Laperouse, LLC, in 2023. Kristina’s current practice includes defending personal injury and property claims, insurance defense, and insurance coverage.
