John Guillory

John Guillory grew up in Lafayette and New Orleans, Louisiana. John attended Louisiana State University where he earned a degree in accounting. John graduated from Tulane University Law School in 1987 when he was awarded Order of the Coif for graduating in the top ten percent of his class.
John has been practicing law for over 30 years defending insurance carriers and companies in various areas including commercial litigation, trucking, and general casualty litigation, product liability, professional liability, and insurance coverage.
John has extensive experience in every phase of litigation and has tried over twenty jury trials and numerous bench trials.
Since joining Gieger, Laborde, and Laperouse, LLC, the focus of John’s practice has been insurance coverage and litigation defense.
