Andrew West was born in Rockford, Illinois and has been practicing law since 2016. Andrew attended Southern Illinois University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2006. He graduated with Merit from Australia National University with a Master of International Affairs in 2011. In 2016, he graduated from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. While in law school, he was selected for the school’s Moot Court Team.
Prior to law school, Andrew taught English in Taiwan. He relocated to New Orleans in 2008 and worked in education and the non-profit sector. After completing his master’s degree in 2011, he interned with the United Nations Development Program in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Andrew is licensed in the State of Louisiana, and is also admitted to the following federal courts: U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana.
