Stephen was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana where he attended high school at St. Martin’s Episcopal School. Stephen is licensed to practice in Louisiana and the following federal courts: the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. His practice area includes Product Liability, Medical Malpractice, Premises Liability, Insurance Coverage, and General Civil Litigation.

Representative Cases

Stephen’s practice areas involve personal injury and property damage claims including product defect, medical malpractice and medical device, workplace injury, hazardous exposure, premises liability, auto accident and insurance coverage disputes.  He has handled cases involving design and construction, industrial accidents, wrongful death, electrocutions, chemical exposures, and claims for unsafe working conditions.  Stephen has represented product designers, suppliers, medical device manufacturers, doctors, hospitals, engineers, contractors, trucking companies, property managers, and small business owners in litigation.

Education

Stephen attended college at the University of Virginia where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He attended Tulane Law School and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2016 with a concentration in Civil Law. Stephen clerked with Judge Jude Gravois of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and served as Managing Editor of the International and Comparative Law Journal.
