Jake S. Clements

Jake S. Clements was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana. Jake completed his undergraduate studies at Nicholls State University, where he obtained a degree in marketing with a minor in business management. Following his tenure as a tennis instructor, he earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2023. During his time at Loyola, Jake was honored with “Asterisk” awards for achieving the highest academic performance in two courses: Louisiana Civil Procedure and Professionalism and Ethics. Also in law school, Jake practiced as a Louisiana Supreme Court Rule XX Student Practitioner at the Jefferson Parish District Attorney’s Office and served as an executive board member of several student organizations, including the Alumni and Events Chair of Loyola’s Moot Court Program, a Comment Editor for Loyola’s Maritime Law Journal, and the Secretary of Loyola’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
Jake’s legal practice is litigation based and focuses on insurance defense, including automobile casualty and professional liability, residential and commercial first party property damage claims, bad faith, and mass tort/class action defense.
