Bradford T. Laperouse

Bradford T. Laperouse is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, and is licensed to practice law in the states of Louisiana and Texas. Prior to joining the firm, he gained experience working for the legal department of an offshore energy company. Mr. Laperouse is a member of the Oil and Gas Sections of the Houston Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Association of Professional Landmen, and the Professional Landmen’s Association of New Orleans.
Mr. Laperouse’s practice primarily focuses on upstream oil and gas transactional work and title examination. This practice includes drafting instruments for onshore and offshore activities such as purchase and sale agreements, operating agreements, farmout agreements, participation agreements, confidentiality agreements, and assignments. His work also includes due diligence projects involving asset transactions between energy companies.
Mr. Laperouse attended Louisiana State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the E. J. Ourso College of Business in 2011. He graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2014, where he obtained a Juris Doctorate and completed coursework to become a Certified Texas Mediator. In 2017, he graduated from the University of Houston where he earned a Masters of Law in Energy, Environmental, and Natural Resources Law.
